Patrick M. Higgins was born in Washington, D.C. in
1963. He attended Pennsylvania State University earning
a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1984. He earned
his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina
School of Law in 1988 and was admitted to the South Carolina
Bar that same year. He joined the firm in 1988. Mr. Higgins
is admitted to practice in South Carolina and the United
States District Court for the District of South Carolina.
He focuses his practice primarily on civil litigation and
insurance defense law. He is a certified mediator and a
member of the Beaufort County Bar, the South Carolina Bar,
American Bar Association and the South Carolina Defense
Trial Attorneys' Association.
